My mission for this site is to help other Mammas out their find their daily happiness through these outlets. I share tons of tips to help inspire your next happy moment! If you are saying to yourself “Those things make me happy too!” Or “I want to learn how to do those things!”, then make sure you subscribe for free! That way you will be sent new content and never miss out!
My name is Courtney Neiss and I am a 31 year old stay at home mom. I have the most adorable one year old boy ever who I am so fortunate to get all day every day with….ALL DAY……EVERY DAY…….. Most days I really do feel blessed to have the opportunity. But I also get a little antsy being isolated with him. The job I left when my son was born was mentally challenging and I was able to constantly learn new things. It was also stressful and I was always multitasking at max capacity. I find myself even a year later struggling with how much slower my days feel.
This has lead to many hobbies and projects to keep my mind occupied and my hands busy. Sure a baby keeps me plenty busy, and raising him is very satisfying. There are different kinds of fulfillment we look for in our day however, and one baby does not quite meet all of them.
This blog is my most recent endeavor to keep challenging myself. I have decided to create a space where I can share things in my life that make me happy. Tricks with the baby that make life easier. Recipes my family can’t get enough of. Or the many crafts I decide “yeah, sure, I can do that”. We are also remodeling our whole house and I will share the progress and before and after pictures.
Along with serving as an outlet for myself, I have hopes of people truly being helped by my blog. Maybe I share some tricks that help you improve your baking. Maybe you are struggling with your own little one and are looking for answers (or just affirmation that what you’re going through is normal). Want to learn how to install your own toilet? Please look around and if you aren’t finding the answers you need, email me! I will do my best to help, or point you in a direction if I don’t have the answer myself. This blog is for you!
(P.S. For those of you wondering: My last name is pronounced “nice”, the blog title is a play on the pronunciation)
